I couldn't be happier with the service provided by Pavel and his team at Dumbo Moving. From the moment they arrived, they were fast, careful, and extremely efficient in packing my belongings for a cross-country move. They arrived on time and handled my belongings with the utmost care. Everything was wrapped so carefully by him and his team. Such professionalism by all involved. You can ask for unique requests, and they are happy to accommodate. I can't thank them enough. We moved from Texas to Maryland, Dumbo Movers showed up at the new house. Only driver showed up. Waited 2 hours for help, one person showed up. Driver was arrogant and disrespectful, called cops on him. Broke hundreds of dollars of furniture and household items. Driver gave me a fake number to call. Driver took off while we weren’t paying attention, didn’t unload everything into the house, left it outside. Abandoned the guy that came to help him, had to take him to gas station to catch a bus. Awful experience, stay away from this company. I have pictures and documents to prove my situation.

This was the easiest and best move experience in Manhattan between coop elevator buildings! Bella supplied a price quote, insurance certificates, information on reserving freight elevators in both buildings—all with good humor! Valentin and his crew came on time, with tools and bags to wrap mattress & boxspring. They were careful and obviously experienced—completely professional. I recommend them to get you through the complicated, stressful requirements of a move in or out of NYC. They are the perfect blend of professionalism and helpfulness. Thank you Dumbo, it takes a magical flying elephant to get through a move in NYC!

Absolutely outstanding service! From start to finish, the moving team was professional, efficient, and incredibly friendly. They arrived on time, handled our belongings with the utmost care, and made the entire process stress-free. They went above and beyond, even helping to reassemble furniture and ensuring everything was placed exactly where we wanted. The level of attention to detail and customer service was exceptional. I was exceedingly happy with the customer service provided by Dumbo Moving & Storage, particularly by Marina. She, and everyone else I worked with, went above and beyond to make a stressful experience as seamless and stress-free as it could have been. I received a very reasonable quote and prompt responses to every inquiry. Proof of insurance was provided within minutes. When I needed to first reschedule, and then cancel, my move, they handled it in a very professional and compassionate manner. When I need to book this move again, or any other, I will absolutely use this company.

I recently had the pleasure of using Dumbo Moving for my move from a 6th-floor walk-up apartment in NYC (with no elevator!) to a first-floor apartment in Hoboken, and I couldn’t have been more impressed! Moving is stressful enough, but my two movers made the entire experience so smooth and worry-free.

Despite the 6 flights of stairs, they handled everything with ease and even managed to keep smiles on their faces the entire time—something I felt so bad about! Not only were they super friendly, but they also went above and beyond to make sure all my belongings were carefully wrapped and protected. Their attention to detail and positive attitudes made a huge difference.

I can’t recommend Dumbo Moving enough for anyone looking for reliable, professional, and hardworking movers who truly care about their customers. Thank you for making what could have been a nightmare of a move so much better!

This was our first time having someone else help with a move, and Dumbo made it super easy. Just a phone call, a quote, and a few quick forms to sign. The process was simple and painless, and the movers were professional and efficient. All of our furniture and belongings were wrapped and properly taken care of while being moved to the truck and into the new apartment. Would definitely recommend them for anyone moving in the NYC area, and we plan to use them again in the future.

Joel Granatstein has helped me with several complicated moves. I am disabled and need extra accommodation to help pack and move important family heirlooms and artwork and furniture in multiple locations. Joel meticulously priced all options and called to check in every step of the way, before, during and after each move. The service was so high above and beyond my expectations I cannot imagine ever moving with anyone else! Special shout out to Paata, Temo and David, my dream packer-mover team!

Wonderful company! I chose them because the quote was almost 200$ less than another company. Ray was supportive on the logistical end, helping set everything up and get the time frames I needed. I also appreciated that I was able to update my inventory up till the day of the move! Truly wonderful customer service.

Movers were strong, kind and diligent. They moved my items carefully and with respect. They intentionally disassembled and assembled furniture and even helped me reach high up things I couldn’t, such as some wall art and items on the top shelves of the cabinets. I definitely recommend renting the bins, they drop them off in your apt for free and pick them up after you unpack—this made the process way more manageable and the whole move process quicker!

If you’re on a budget this is a great company to hire— I understand it’s always a gamble with who you get day of — but these guys were really awesome!
